JOB TITLE: Associate Design Consultant
DEPARTMENT: Design and Development
SUPERVISION: Lead Designer

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

As part of the management and development team, the Associate Design Consultant oversees day to day customer service, administration and operations of marketing & sales development of the design and development department.

​

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- City Hall processing of projects for approval
- Working with homeowners from early design phase to final completion of construction
- Bookkeeping, billing, collecting litigation and accountant liaison for the business
- Project management oversight of client accounts,
- Record keeping and payroll,
- Computer upgrades needed, appropriate software and programming languages
- Working with all sub-trades and subcontractors with on site personal assistance
- Ensuring completion of work, on-time, that sub-trades might do their work
- Telephone support and personal communication with clients, suppliers and municipality

MINOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Completion of catalogues of housing designs
- Preparation of marketing strategy for selling them to builders and homeowners

​

QUALIFICATIONS FOR JOB

- University or College Degree
- Computer and Software expertise
- Customer service and sales aptitude
